Daily Brief and Digest for E-Commerce

A done-for-you morning brief and daily digest for e-commerce. Sales, refunds, stock, support, and ad spend in one short email, every morning.

Where this sits

Layer 4 of the AI Operating System: it runs on a schedule, no human prompt needed.

If you run an online store, the morning usually starts with five tabs. Sales dashboard, ad account, inbox, refund queue, inventory sheet. By the time you have pieced together what happened overnight, an hour is gone and you still have not answered a single customer or shipped a single order.

The Daily Brief and Digest is a Cadence capability inside your AI Operating System. It reads from the tools you already use, summarizes what changed in the last 24 hours, and drops one short brief into your inbox before you sit down. Orders, revenue, refunds, low stock, support volume, ad spend, and anything that needs a decision today. You skim it in two minutes and know exactly where to start.

Where this sits in your AI Operating System

This page covers a capability that runs on the Cadence layer of your AIOS. The other three layers make it work:

  • Context: the brief uses your product catalog, margins, target ROAS, and what counts as a problem worth flagging.
  • Connections: it reads from your store, ad platforms, helpdesk, and shipping tool through their normal data feeds.
  • Capabilities: the digest itself, plus optional drilldowns like a weekly cohort view or a Monday inventory brief.
  • Cadence: it runs every morning at a time you pick, seven days a week or weekdays only, without anyone asking it to.

What “done” looks like

You get one email, in your inbox, every morning at the time you choose. The artifact and the SLA are fixed.

  • Delivered before 7:00 local time, or any time you set.
  • One screen long. Headline numbers at the top, exceptions in the middle, a short suggested focus for the day at the bottom.
  • Includes: orders and revenue for yesterday, day over day and week over week change, refunds and chargebacks, top 3 selling SKUs, any SKU below your reorder threshold, support ticket count and oldest open ticket, ad spend and ROAS by channel, and any flagged anomalies.
  • One-click links back into the source tool for anything you want to investigate.
  • Weekly recap on Mondays with 7-day and 28-day trends.
  • Owner can reply to the email with a question and get an answer back from the same thread.

How we install it

Every AIOS capability follows the same three-phase install. Nothing exotic, no surprise invoices.

  1. Audit (free, about 10 minutes): a short call to see what tools your store runs on, what numbers you actually care about, and what is currently eating your mornings. Run the audit.
  2. Install (10 business days): we connect the data sources, write the brief template in your voice, set thresholds for what counts as an exception, and run it in parallel for a few days so you can red-line it before it goes live.
  3. Operate (ongoing): the brief runs every morning. We add one new automation per week, tune thresholds as your store grows, and swap in new sections (returns, subscription churn, LTV) as you ask for them. See plans.

Expected results

  • About 30 to 60 minutes saved every morning, which is roughly 10 to 20 hours a month for a single operator.
  • Faster reaction to stockouts and refund spikes, usually within the same day instead of three days later.
  • Fewer dashboards opened per week. Most owners stop logging into their analytics tool daily within the first month.
  • Clearer handoffs. If you have a VA or ops manager, they read the same brief and act on the same priorities.
  • Standing guarantee: across your full AIOS, we recover 40 or more hours a month, or we keep working free until you do.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to switch any of my tools?

No. The brief reads from whatever store platform, ad accounts, helpdesk, and shipping tool you already use. If a tool has a normal data feed, we can pull from it.

Can the brief be sent to more than one person?

Yes. The owner gets the full version. You can send a trimmed version to a co-founder, ops lead, or agency, with only the sections that are relevant to them.

What if my mornings need different information on different days?

The brief has a fixed core and a flexible tail. Monday adds a weekly recap, Friday can add a payout and cash position summary, and you can ask for a one-off section any time. We adjust it inside the weekly operate cycle at no extra cost.
